I’ve been slightly MIA from this blog due mostly to being extra busy at work, but also because I’ve been introduced to what is one of the funniest TV shows I’ve ever seen. Spaced, written by & starring Simon Pegg & Jessica Hynes, has been keeping me up way too late these past few nights to the point where I’m having trouble getting up to get to work on time & thank GOD my boss is out this week.
Episode 1 is above - you may have to go straight to YouTube to watch it (just do it, it’s worth it) & all episides seem to be on YouTube. There are only 14 - the English really know how to make a good comedy but they also know when to end a good thing, which is smart (cast members don’t have a chance to leave & the writing never gets too desperate or ridiculous, like what’s currently happening on Grey’s Anatomy or the entire final season of That 70’s Show, which was such an awesome show that went on for too long & was so bad at the end it made you realize against your better judgement just how funny Ashton Kutcher actually is) but at the same time sad, since you don’t want the fun to end.
You should seriously watch this show & expect to laugh a lot. And if you don’t…be sure to rent the last season of That 70’s Show - you’ll LOVE it.
