My sister and I both entered to win Coldplay tickets last month and, in a loving gesture, our mother also entered with the intention of giving us the tickets if she won. We didn’t realize at the time that the winner would have to be present at the concert.
So of course my mom won the tickets. She felt really bad about it, since both Mer & I really want to go to the show, so she did some digging today and found a way for us to go without her being there. However, as grateful as I am that we can now both go to the show, my ego is slightly bruised.
Tonight I have to being a note from my mommy saying she’s given me permission to go to the concert.
Should I pin it to my shirt?
