Whenever I see someone with an interesting tattoo I’m always tempted to ask them why they got it.  Not in a condescending or judgmental way; I’m genuinely interested in knowing the stories behind the words and images these people needed to have painfully etched into their skin. This woman has a pair of scissors with feathers running down the back of each arm - they are beautiful.  I really wish I had had the guts to ask her about them.
